1808 - O.106a R.3 PCGS OGH AU 55 CAC

From Tim Osborne’s fabulous consignment to MB 52, Aug. 2021. Lance prevailed at $4,868 in a furious battle with other advanced collectors.. A spectacular “AU 55” in an old green label PCGS holder that Tim and I considered a strong candidate to earn a gold CAC sticker. The halo of golden toning frames fully lustrous, lightly toned centers. Tim spotted the coin in my case during the 1994 summer ANA Convention in Detroit, part of a group consigned to me for the show by our mutual friend Gehring Prouty.
