The semi-prooflike reverse is a selling point for this glittering 1821. It must have been spectacular when it was kicked out of the coining chamber 203 years back. A brief tour in circulation left only minor disturbances in the fields. If AU 50 is your bailiwick, this is the coin for your date set.
