Ex Dr. Charles Link. Luster befits a choice uncirculated coin. A hint of friction on the cheek excuses the conservative grade. “Grey-dirt” fans will love the original, antique grey patina that envelops the coin. It is plated in PCGS’ CoinFacts as the 3rd finest graded, behind an MS 63 and the MS 62 offered in MB 47, August 2018, bringing $4,180. Dr. Link purchased the coin privately from Alpine Numismatics in January 2021.
