I see a 5 to 8-point upgrade or a gold CAC sticker in the future of this elegant 1821. Frosty mint luster surpasses all expectations for the assigned grade. The toning is off the charts. The surfaces? Nary a blemish. Heritage stuck this treasure in an Internet session of its August 2016 sale. It did not go unnoticed, bringing $1,645. It will do better today.
