1830 Small 0 - O.104 R.3 PCGS AU 58

Ex Keith Davignon A truly old friend, making its 4th appearance in my auctions: MB 16 (as NGC MS 62), MB 41 (to Keith Davignon) and MB 45 (at $1,607). It is a challenge to find wear on this sensational “AU 58.” The surfaces are ablaze with luster. The obverse impersonates a painter’s palette—splashes of vibrant colors sweep across the pristine surfaces. The colorful and more evenly toned reverse is equally captivating. Treat the coin as Mint State and you will be in the hunt.
