A halo of pastel gold surrounds the brilliant centers.  A trace of friction on the cheek, tip of cap and highest curl – just what we expect of our 58s.  Bold luster throughout.  Flashy, high grade 1819s are tough to find.  This one popped up in Heritage’s 2017 Denver ANA sale, lot 4966, bringing $2,938.
