A gossamer veil of pale copper toning enhances the exceptional eye appeal of this choice uncirculated 1825.  The strike is first rate; the luster extravagant, while a double profile adds sex appeal.  I note that PCGS values a generic 1825 in “63” at $3,250 while the Greysheet argues for $1,750.  Neither figure seems right for a coin of this caliber.
