1809 XXX Edge - O.108a R.4 PCGS VF 30 CAC

Forget the edge variety for a moment, the `09-108a has its own following among die variety collectors. It is a very sticky R.4 marriage, with a Condition Census extending down to AU 50, perhaps XF 45. This charming, CAC approved, VF 30 served time in commerce and came away unscathed. The toning is old and original. The strike is soft, as usual. A lovely coin for those seeking this grade level. From the Kings Park Collection. Estimate: $600 to $850
