This coin appears to have been housed in a Wayte Raymond album. The reverse displays deep iridescent blue and gold toning, while the more lightly toned obverse shows luster in protected areas and a colorful halo around the periphery. An attractive example, sporting a well-deserved CAC sticker. Last offered at auction by Stack’s/Bowers, April, 2022, lot 2271. Estimate: $2,800 to $3,500.
Note: The PCGS label indicates "Small Stars." It is generally thought that the 1806 small star varieites are O.106 and O.107, not the O.105.
