From MB 51, Feb. 2021, lot 10 @$1,815 where the coin’s scrumptious hues elicited this tidbit of hyperbole, “…for collectors who enjoy colorful toning [here is] a coin to suit your taste and budget. A hummingbird would be proud to display the iridescent turquoise, gold and russet enticements offered by this 1809.” Eye appeal remains the watchword for this offering. Estimate: $1,500 to $2,000.
