Luster bursts from the depths of this carefully preserved coin. A protective shield of silver-grey toning contributes to its allure. The well struck devices and pleasing surfaces support the assigned grade. In all, a coin without faults, ready for a new home in a high-grade date or type set. From the collection of Keith Davignon who likens its appearance to the Plimpton family hoard of bust halves discussed in his articles in the John Reich Journal. Estimate: $2,800 to $3,400.
