1823 - O.112 R.1 PCGS AU 58

The fully lustrous fields were gently wiped but remain free of contact marks.. Liberty enjoys a double profile, a common occurrence in 1823. The coin is beautifully impressed. A shimmering ring of copper toning glorifies the dentils. Ex Stack’s/Bowers sale of March 2014, lot 5353 @ $1,880. Estimate: $1,400 to $1,800.
