1825 - O.107 R.3 PCGS AU 55

A pastel halo of gold surrounds the brilliant centers. Luster is A+ for the assigned grade. The surfaces are essentially free of contact marks. Last seen at the 2023 Worlds Fair of Money in Pittsburgh (MB 56, lot 64) where bidders clearly viewed it as AU 58. I counted 13 bids on the coin. It brought $853. Estimate: $600 to $800.
