Original auburn toning blankets the surfaces. A few dark spots circle Liberty’s ribbon and lowest curl. The Hinkelmans found the coin in Heritage’s Internet session of its August 2024 ANA Sale, lot 25231, and promptly placed it with our consignor. Estimate: $800 to $1,000.
