Sharply struck central devices are a huge + for dates in the 1830s. Liberty’s cap, curls, ribbon and drapery are fully impressed. The reverse is no less impressive. A ring of gold frames the brilliant centers. Luster is unbroken and vibrant. A few hairlines in the left obverse field account for the conservative grade. Estimate: $1,200 to $1,500.
