1834 Larege Date, Small Letters - O.104 R.2 PCGS MS 64

From Keith Davignon’s collection, ex Dr. Charles Link and Lance Keigwin. Another 1834 with fabulous eye-appeal. An iridescent rainbow of sunset colors surrounds the golden-grey centers. Keigwin acquired the coin for $3,000 via private treaty in August 2021. Davignon prodded and cajoled Keigwin at the 2024 January FUN show until Lance agreed to part with his prize. This is a magnificent coin. There can be no quarrel with its lofty grade. Link provenance noted on the PCGS label. Estimate: $3,000 to $3,500.
