1818 - O.104a R.3 PCGS AU 50

Gunmetal grey with rose highlights. Enough luster to support a “55.” An NGC AU 50 of this variety and die state brought $852 in April 2023 (Heritage, lot 53180). That coin would not hold a candle to this beautifully toned example. The trio of impressive obverse die breaks is a bonus. Estimate: $800 to $1,200
